You guys have only just glanced at the goldmine of great stories in the connections and cozy machinations of real estate developers in our fair city, who are allowed to lay waste to green spaces, wriggle out of building things like sidewalks, and over-build local infrastructure with impunity. And with the arrival of serious energy cost and environmental problems, thoughtful coverage of how we're building our city is long overdue. And we won't get it elsewhereIf the alt-weekly won't uncover it (any reporter can "cover" it), no one will, especially not the self-promotional southcomm ingratiators. Those latter reporters are too busy trying to jibe government critics to be of any use to anyone but the courthouse elite.
