Historic Germantown Pulls Together North End Neighborhoods & Businesses for Night Out Against Crime

From Historic Germantown, Inc:
Tuesday, August 7th
6-8 PM
Bicentennial Mall

Historic Germantown has partnered with the Nashville Farmers Market, US Smokeless Tobacco, Salemtown Neighbors, JUMP [Jefferson St. United Merchants Partnership] and Hope Gardens to celebrate National “Night Out” Against Crime.

This is a night for neighborhoods to come out and stand united against crime. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention, and neighborhood camaraderie.

Activities will include:
    • Appearances and demonstrations by MNPD, MNFD and Army National Guard
    • Scooby Doo Mystery Machine Bounce Center and Huge Slide
    • Neighborhood Watch materials and Child ID Kits
Before joining the G-town events, Salemtown Neighbors will be having a walk around S-town with police on horseback escorts as we have had the previous couple of years. That walk starts at around 5:00 at Hume and 5th Avenue, North.
